Current Obsessions - October 2020
HA it’s been a full year since publishing any sort of blog post here. Without meaning to, I took a hiatus. When you’re in school, have a job, and also have a life you’re enjoying, a blog honestly seems like a chore. BUT I had a conversation with my mom about how I want to grow this space, and she challenged me by saying “When are you ever going to have the perfect time…” and she’s 100% right. I always think to myself, “when I have a house, when I’m married, when I have children…that’s when I’ll do this for real and people will take me seriously,” which we’ve all heard before. What my mom said just hits different at the right time.
SO, without further ado, welcome back to the blog. Today = current obsessions and links. Sometimes I feel selfish when I find something amazing and want to keep it for myself, but that’s extremely humbling to say out loud, so now that I’ve said it, I’ll share. Lol.
Current Obsessions
My SNS manicure. A friend of mine got 2 coats of funny bunny and 1 coat of bubble bath. It’s too good, so I got it too.
These CHRISTMAS PLATES by Inslee Farris. Am I crazy for buying these yesterday? Probably. They come in a set of 12 and they are the 12 Days of Christmas watercolored by Inslee Farris (my favorite artist currently).
This SPOTIFY PLAYLIST – made by my friend, Hannah Rose. It’s all the best vibes for fall. Think Parent-Trap, Father of the Bride, the Intern…all of the songs in those Nancy Meyers movies.
This ARTICLE - Topo Chico is my all time favorite sparkling water…and apparently they are going to make a hard seltzer? Sign me up for the pre-order.
My new white HYDROFLASK - mine has the straw top. I woke up this morning and there was still ice in my water!
WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY - mine, to be specific ;). Editing the photos from last week’s wedding has been so fun.
A NEW DRESS I got from Target - $25 and I wore it today! It’s one of those dresses that doesn’t feel like work, if that makes any sense.
I’m eyeing this TOILETRY POUCH - I love the dark green. I may or may not have put it on my wishlist.
I took this picture of Mason with his roommate’s puppy and now I NEED Mason to buy a puppy oh his own.
EMILY IN PARIS - I heard good things, and I’m loving it so far! There are a few, how you say ~iffy~ scenes, so just fast forward.
Don’t you think this ORNAMENT would be cute on Mason’s Christmas Tree? I’m psycho for looking at anything Christmas, I’m aware.
Running! I’m back to running almost daily and I forgot how much it changes my perspective!
